Bishop Lynch should be forced to resign his office

Note that Bishop Lynch does not say that “some Christians” or “some Catholics” target homosexuals for hate, but specifically that “it is religion, including our own..” that does so, which in this context can only mean the Catholic Church. Thus a bishop of the Catholic Church accuses his own religion of targeting homosexuals in such a way as to breed contempt for such people, which can lead to such violence.

After mounting protests, archbishop rescinds pro-gay bishop’s speaking invitation

Bishop Lynch’s poor track record in dealing with sexual scandal in his former diocese plus the presence of homosexual scandal in his own life had made him a curious choice to lead the retreat which aims to address the current turmoil, division, and darkness the Church now faces, brought about primarily by the presence of Catholic clergy who have been active homosexuals.

In the end, the diocese handed over nearly $6 million dollars to settle sexual harassment claims.

‘Enough is enough’: Famed evangelist pens powerful letter to ‘troubled Catholics’

IN ADDITION to McCarrick

But continual reports of ongoing financial and sexual scandals suggest reform doesn’t seem to be happening. Recently, a male prostitute in Italy published the names and photos of sixty priests who frequent his services—with scarcely any comment from the shepherds. And the homosexual orgy in the apartment of a Vatican cardinal, used by his secretary, was met with a “no comment” by the Vatican press office. And then we hear also of a monsignor in the papal nuncio’s office in Washington, D.C., who suddenly leaves the country and is put on trial in the Vatican for trafficking in child pornography and is given a five year prison sentence.

  • We need to remember that the Catholic Church is indeed founded by Christ and, despite all problems, has within it the fullness of the means of salvation. Where else can we go? Nowhere; this is indeed our Mother and Home, and she needs our love, our prayers, and our persevering in the way of holiness more than ever.
  • We need to remember that there are many truly holy and dedicated bishops and priests, and we must pray for them and support them. They need and deserve our support.
  • We need to remember that this isn’t the first time such grave problems have beset the Church. In the fourteenth century, St. Catherine of Siena bemoaned the “stench of sin” coming from the papal court and prophesied that even the demons were disgusted by the homosexual activity he had tempted priests into and the cover up by their superiors!

During his tenure, “The Diocese of St. Petersburg refused to release its priest records and acknowledged it had previously handled sexual abuse complaints without contacting authorities,” reported The Tampa Bay Times in 2002.  In the end, the diocese handed over nearly $6 million dollars to settle sexual harassment claims.

Hunting for Fr. Martin’s “Witch Hunt”

Because, as Fr. James Martin knows full well, the inmates are largely running the asylum.

And such inmates all have Fr. Martin’s back.

We are not talking about accusing people in the sense of judging them as saved or damned, but identifying malefactors and their enablers so that they don’t continue perpetrating evil. And so that victims, who will be the first accusers, find mercy – and justice – in truth.

Restoring Confidence in the Catholic Faith

Restoring Confidence in the Catholic Faith

If priests cannot be chaste in celibacy, how can we expect our young men to grow in chastity as they prepare for marriage?

For example, when priests live their celibacy with confidence, they provide an example to young men who are required to be chaste in their own celibate state before they marry. Clerical violations of celibacy not only encourage secular commentators like Rush Limbaugh to question its value for priests, they undermine the resolve of men struggling to overcome addictions to pornography.

In my parish, I have been methodical in my strategy in dealing with the doctrinal ambiguities of the Vatican.  The pope’s picture hangs in the church vestibule to remind the faithful to pray for him.  But it is safer as a matter of clarity never to quote the Holy Father.

Father Palka's Blog-How Bad Could the Blackmail Be?

If you didn’t read my article in last week’s bulletin, you really should before reading this one as it will help put some things into proper perspective. That said, I promised to continue explaining just what an AH/HA bishop (see last week’s article for an explanation) always threatens to do—and actually does—as often as necessary to keep the “peace” through a reign of fear and intimidation. His own power and “pleasure” (sick though these may be) are his main goals.

Why don't priests blow the whistle?   Last week

Bishops admit they knew Cardinal McCarrick was an abuser but stayed silent

Bishops admit they knew Cardinal McCarrick was an abuser but stayed silent

June 28, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Now-disgraced retired cardinal of Washington, DC Theodore McCarrick was permitted to live out his role as a bishop over the past thirty years despite the fact that some bishops knew him to be guilty of sexually abusing seminarians.

Since this past week’s McCarrick revelations by the Archdioceses of New York and Newark, that McCarrick was found to have credible allegations of sexual predation against a minor, and two adult males, there can be little doubt that the American hierarchy was aware of allegations of his past salacious and sexually exploitative misconduct.

Why didn’t Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the present Archbishop of Washington, D.C. restrict McCarrick’s access to young males and altar boys while residing in his Archdiocese? After all, Wuerl is the spiritual shepherd of the diocese and has authority over the care and protection of his spiritual flock.

POPE FRANCIS REPLACES PRO-GAY BISHOP ROBERT LYNCH

Bishop Lynch's reign has not only been sympathetic to homosexual rhetoric, but unsympathetic toward Tradition.

Bishop Lynch displaced a Latin Mass church in Sarasota, with reports stating there were "over 3,800 registered families, six Sunday Masses, and a parish school."

Bishop Lynch has been involved in homosexual scandals, once paying a former employee $100,000 in a settlement after the employee accused him of sexual advances. Bishop Lynch was also accused of illegally granting $30 million worth of diocesan business contracts to a young, muscular athlete with whom Lynch was close.
