A unique and historic highlight was Governor DeSantis recognizing Chloe Cole in the chamber who sat next to First Lady Casey DeSantis. Chloe is a formerly trans teenager, who took testosterone and puberty blockers at age 13, underwent a double mastectomy at age 15, and started de-transitioning at age 16. She is now a powerful advocate for protecting children like her from such harmful and dangerous procedures.
